Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to Outreach and Prevention Manager, the Program Evaluator will: Data management; responsible for oversight of data collection, tracking and management of assessments, program evaluation planning and implementation, monitoring and reporting of outcomes, supervising data staff, coordinating with secondary recipients on data requirements, and acting as the liaison to Public Health for data and evaluation matters. Maintain a secure HIPAA compliant framework for ingesting, storing, mining and archiving data for the purpose of monitoring program outcomes and trends, grant/funder and executive report and to assist in;  Quality Assurance to ensure high levels of service delivery, documentation and evaluation standards are met through inspection, detection and resolution activities, providing reports to Management and Executive Director; Maintain Multi-Disciplinary Partner Relationships through effective and proactive communication, regular meetings, coordination of operational needs and implementation of policies and procedures; Grow the Efficiency of Existing Organizational Process and Procedures through ensuring the availability of vibrant systems, setting accurate work plan goals and leveraging resources to ensure all activities are met to the highest standards, continuous evaluation of systems for the purpose of maintaining constant improvements, policy and procedure adjustments; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Epidemiology, Public Health Statistics, Public Health Microbiology or Communicable Disease Control, or other relevant degree AND a minimum of three (3) years of experience evaluating public health or social service programs in underserved communities. OR a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing data or evaluation of grant-funded public health, social service, and/or similar programs. Candidate must have experience providing oversight for all aspects of data management, assessment, and program evaluation (e.g., data collection and cleaning, survey/questionnaire design, program outcomes tracking, reporting outcomes), in underserved communities, with a minimum of one (1) year evaluating community engagement programs.

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

Must be a critical thinker with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.  Must display high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.  Speak and communicate effectively; write narrative and statistical reports.  Must have a thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and create professionally formatted documentation.  Work comfortably with multimedia materials. Excellent, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.  Must be able to work independently and complete tasks within pre-established timelines. Must have the ability and specialized skills to organize, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks; work independently in a busy environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities; maintain cooperative working relationships with others; be team-oriented; and coordinate/collaborate with a variety of individuals and organizations. Must demonstrative a passion for helping individuals who have experienced child maltreatment, domestic violence, and or sexual assault. Must demonstrate an acceptance and respect for cultural diversity in all its forms, including ethnicity, sexual orientation, abilities, and religious backgrounds and an ability to work collaboratively in an ethnically linguistically, and culturally diverse environment.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

Schedule: Varies based on Manager

Full Pay range: $19.71 - $23.08 per hour

The anticipated hiring range: $19.71 - $23.08 per hour

Time Base: Part Time
