Program Coordinator - (240000UE) University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the School of Medicine - Physical Therapy, The Center for Disability Justice. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing several related designated activities or projects. This position will plan, organize, facilitate, coordinate, schedule and assist with the oversight of the multiple projects within the Center. Under direct supervision, the coordinator will manage the day to day needs of the project leads. PRIMARY DUTIES: * Coordinate activities and functions of a designated program or programs to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. * Coordinate day-to-day activities of the program(s) with inter-related activities of other programs, departments, or staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications. * Manage data collection, keep records of program activities: progress, status, and outcomes, and prepare reports for management. * Recruit program participants, members and volunteers utilizing most appropriate promotional or marketing methods, such as individual letters, brochures, or presentations.. * Work with the department Grants and Contracts Specialist to provide information for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors. * Interact and maintain liaison with students, faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and partners in order to grow the programming. * Schedule, market, and promote events of the programs. * May coordinate, monitor or supervise the activities of work study students, volunteers, and contractual employees. * Perform other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree. Experience: One (1) year of administrative or program coordination experience. High level of Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Forms, Teams), SurveyMonkey, and Eventbrite. Ability to be proficient using the following Blackboard, Constant Contact, Web CPI, and CORE ELMS.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
