Description


As the Program Coordinator for the Department of Medicine Star Fellowship Training Program, you’ll collaborate with faculty in the operational and financial management of the Program and/or initiative ensuring an optimal training environment for participants. 

As Program Coordinator you will be responsible for a wide range of programmatic activities including but not limited to:

  • Designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating, and supporting education programs in compliance with organizational objectives and requirements.
  • Support learners in areas such as curriculum, teaching and learning activities, scheduling, core competencies, assessment, and evaluations.
  • Coordinate all activities associated with ongoing administration of the Program.

UCLA Health salary range for this position is $64,800.00 – $137,600.00/annually. Please note that the department’s target pay range is $64,800.00 – $101,200.00/annually.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related and/or equivalent experience/training
  • 2-3 years’ experience coordinating an educational program(s) in an academic medical center.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and web based applications
  • Presents and expresses ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written.  Actively listens to what others are saying to achieve understanding.  Shares information with others and facilitates the open exchange of ideas and information.  
  • Demonstrated commitment to knowledge development/professional development.
  • High degree of initiative and independent judgement
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to prioritize short and competing deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to interact collegially with faculty, staff, learners and outside contacts to carry out the mission of the educational program(s) or initiative(s) 
  • Manages confidential information discreetly and responsibly.
