Job Summary
The Advanced Science & Technology Commercialization Center (ASTeCC) seeks a Program Coordinator II. ASTeCC is UK’s premier entrepreneurial ecosystem business incubator. Located in the middle of campus, ASTeCC is home to faculty labs for research with commercialization potential.
As the primary contact for engagement relationships with the university’s innovation spaces, the Program Coordinator II will work to build relationships between the university and businesses by implementing engagement projects and programs. This position will participate in the Economic Development Collaborative, including the Partnership Subcommittee and the OneUK task force.
The Program Coordinator II will plan and direct the ASTeCC Business Incubator Program and assist in the development, establishment, and implementation of program policies, procedures, and processes. This position will implement programs to foster an entrepreneurial climate and support incubation of business clients’ companies.
This position will also coordinate with Real Estate Services on subleases and other agreement preparation for the utilization of academic space and will coordinate with the Coldstream accountant on management of budget and funding for ASTeCC.
