What we want 

The School of Education and Human Development - Educational Psychology Department, has a career opportunity for a Program Coordinator II​. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the program; hires, trains, and supervises part-time employees and student workers. This role also prepares reports; manages program data and supports the Program Director with the PATHS Program data collection, recording, and entry into annual data submission (NIRS) report. This role may maintain the daily operations of the PATHS Program curriculum and instruction implementation, plan program events, and coordinate summer programming. This role may also assist with renewal contracts by providing timelines and recommendations based on student data with appropriate oversight from the Program Director.

Position Details: Occasional work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends required. Position is located onsite at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX campus.


Required Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Four (4) years of program coordination or related experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

  • Four (4) years of program coordination experience.

  • Two (2) years of customer service.

  • Two (2) years of Leadership and Management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Daily Operations and Evaluation of Program Management

  • Responsible for PATHS curriculum, instruction, and implementation of best practices.

  • Plans and implements program events, open houses, graduation ceremonies, and family and school visits.

  • Responds to inquiries regarding program offerings and deals with the student application process from beginning to end.

  • Coordinates program communication, social media, and marketing.

  • Plans and implements programs and assists in their evaluation.

  • Assists in establishing short- and long-term goals, objectives and strategic planning.

  • Collaborates with others to create new and expanded programs.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders.

  • Oversees daily fiscal and purchasing activities.

  • Assists in establishing policies and procedures.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Data Management

  • Oversees assessments, data collection and evaluation which includes but is not limited to students’ assessment, satisfaction surveys, program evaluation, and NIRS accountability.

  • Assists with proposal development and budgeting for continued funding of the program.

  • Assist with identifying funding opportunities.

  • Prepare reports; compiles program statistics; manages program data.

  • Maintains program records and databases.

Supervision and Training

  • Supervises part time program staff members.

  • Develops and updates training materials and delivers training sessions to part time program staff members.
