Description

 

The University of Alabama at Birmingham -Psychology department seeks a Program Coordinator I to work under general supervision, coordinate administrative, personnel and logistical support for a defined department program. Carry out established program objectives and directives. Determine the best approach to accomplish assignments. May supervise support staff. Communicate, using a variety of media, with internal and external constituencies. May be responsible for adherence to program budget and/or other fiscal duties. May assist with grant and contract preparation and submission. May handle data management.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

·         Schedule and conduct participant interviews.

·         Collect and enter interview data.

·         Manage day to day administrative tasks related to study project.

·         Establish study protocols relevant to study objectives.

·         Manage and order lab supplies.

·         Organize/manage biological samples for analyses.

·         Interact with other UAB personnel such as building maintenance, printing services, UAB Outreach and department business office.

·         Train new lab members on study protocols.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.  

 

Hourly Pay Range: $15.00 - $21.95

 

Qualifications

 

High School diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience required.
