Position Summary
Project management of continuing educational programs in conjunction with Medical School departments including, but not limited to, seminars, conferences, workshops, short courses, and other related programs. Duties include the day-to-day administrative, operational, and fiscal duties to ensure compliance with all accreditation criteria.


Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day operational coordination to the assigned program.
  • Assists with program logistics including budget management.
  • Assists with program communications, which may include grant writing.
  • Manages special events for program/project.
  • Provides administrative support for program/project.
  • Supports committees and associate work groups.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Experience working with community organizations and/or local government agencies and/or nonprofit institutions and/or and academic institutions.
  • Highly self-directed and independent worker.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to choose the best organizational process or work flow for a given context and application.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details while maintaining a landscape view of priorities, values and vision.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple functions, audiences and priorities.
  • Ability and willingness to work occasional evening and weekend hours both on-campus and off-campus in service to community partners and to the instituteâ™s mission.


Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification and three years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range
$20.76 - $32.21 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
