Program Coordinator, Global Education

THE POSITION

Global Education is responsible for high-quality, high-impact, international educational experiences for Bryn Mawr College undergraduates. The Program Coordinator will support the mission of Global Education, which provides strategic leadership, program administration and oversight to the Bryn Mawr College undergraduate study abroad programs and fellowship opportunities.

The position will help the Director advise and guide students through the study abroad application process, collaborate to create dynamic and informative programming for students, and serve as a systems expert, with responsibility for maintaining several different databases and websites. The position will be responsible for communications and outreach, spearheading publicity for opportunities, programs, and events, and managing the office’s social media presence. The individual will work with the Director of Global Education and Fellowships Advisor to deliver top-notch service to students, staff, faculty, alumnae/i, organizations, vendors, and others who are integral to achieving Global Education’s goals. This is a full-time exempt position, with occasional evening and weekend work required.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree; relevant experience in the context of higher education; effective verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to use a variety of specialized software and databases. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive information and confidential matters. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity. Ability to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Master’s Degree and experience living, working, or studying overseas is preferred.
