Grand Canyon University's College of Education is seeking a full time Program and Assessment Manager. The Program and Assessment Manager works closely with the Deans, Directors, and other cross-functional team members to manage and maintain up-to-date program and assessment reporting for the College of Education. This position will also support the day-to-day operations and initiatives of the College of Education, including managing data projects and activities as assigned by the Deans and Director of Assessment and Program Operations (e.g., accreditation, academic program development, etc.).


  • Work closely with the Deans, Directors, and other cross-functional team members to manage and maintain up-to-date program and assessment reporting for the College of Education. 

  • Support the day-to-day operations and initiatives of the College of Education, including managing data projects and activities as assigned by the Deans and Director of Assessment and Program Operations. (e.g., accreditation, academic program development, etc.)

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of all data sources within the College of Education and acts as a liaison to Business Analytics for the development and maintenance of college reports.

  • Conduct research for College of Education initiatives and academic program development.

  • Support the development and management of college data systems, including auditing systems and processes.

  • Promote data quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Maintain knowledge of current and evolving assessment practices and tools.

  • Participate in college or university activities/committees/events as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; analysis of data and report management experience required.

  • Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Background, certification, experience, or degree in the field of PreK-12 education preferred.

  • Experience in higher education environment preferred.

  • Two years of experience working with large-scale assessment programs or large-scale applications (data sets, programs, and/or applications) of similar complexity.

  • Advanced proficiency in word processing, presentation preparation and delivery, spreadsheet (advanced Excel functionality) and database management software.

  • Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
