The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR I to administer the logistical support for a University-wide program, which is often of a large and/or complex nature. May participate in developing program plans, objectives and directives. May supervise support staff. Acts as a communication liaison with outside resources. Plans and carries out special projects related to the success of the program. Responsible for adherence to program budget. May be responsible for fundraising activities and creating marketing plans. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide logistical/administrative support for UAB's Office of International Faculty Staff Immigration Services (IFSIS) by processing employment-based immigration petitions on behalf of UAB and HSF.
  • Work with the team to ensure regulatory compliance through accurate and timely filings with federal agencies and document retention.
  • Assist with newsletter preparation, USPS and courier mailings, scanning, faxing, printing, check requests, and file preparation.
  • Print and organize supporting documents for work authorization petitions with USCIS. 

(Hourly Rate:  $15.00  -  $19.00)

 

Qualifications

 

High School diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience required.
