Job Summary | The Department of Electrical Engineering in the College of Engineering, at The University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Professor of Instruction, Non-Tenure Track position. This opening is for a position starting in the Fall 2024 semester. Successful candidates are expected to have strong teaching and communication skills with technical capabilities and knowledge to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in RF circuit and system design, including antennas and applications such as 6G and vehicular communication and sensing. Preference will be given to qualified applicants working with industry and/or academic experience in analysis, design, simulation, and implementation of RF systems. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. |

Essential Duties and Responsibilities | The NTT faculty duties include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advising and mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development/updates and departmental services. |
Required Qualifications | · Design/Simulation/Manufacture of RF systems · Background in ElectroMagnetics · Development of new curriculum to compliment Communications/Signal Processing Track · Experience with Software such as Ansys/HFSS and Keysight ADS · Experience with testing/analysis of RF systems |
Preferred Qualifications | · Candidates for Professor of Instruction must have earned (by the start date) a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related area, with research and development expertise in digital/computing circuits and systems. |
