Professor of Clinical Finance and Business Economics (Open Rank)-Microeconomics

Applications are invited for full-time non-tenure-track faculty positions (rank open) in the Department of Finance and Business Economics at the USC Marshall School of Business and (eventually) the Department of Economics in the USC Dornsife College. Appointments will begin in the Fall semester, 2024.

Applicants are sought in all areas of Microeconomics.

These faculty positions are for full-time, multi-year academic appointments that are renewable. The expectation is that this appointment will begin in the Marshall School but transfer to the USC Dornsife Economics Department.  Each position requires teaching the equivalent of six one-semester courses per academic year.  Successful candidates will teach classes in economics to undergraduate and graduate students.  The candidate is also expected to engage in student advising and faculty service activities, including workshops, recruiting events, and other activities supportive of the Finance and Business Economics Department.

Preferred qualifications for full-time positions include a doctoral degree or foreign equivalent in an appropriate area of study. Candidates nearing completion of their degree may also be considered. Preference may be given to individuals with relevant experience in teaching at the college/university level.

Salary is dependent on qualifications, and employee benefits for full-time faculty are excellent.  The annual base salary range for this position is $114,750 - $204,050.
