Job Summary:

The Division of Urology, Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a general Urologist to join a vibrant, multidisciplinary clinical team.  Our urologic service is staffed by full-time faculty as well as mid-level providers and provides urologic care for patients originating throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond.  The Division of Urology is a premier clinical, educational, and investigative program offering outstanding opportunities for professional growth and development.  

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.  The candidate will be expected to provide independent clinical services, supervise advanced practice providers and nurses in providing independent clinical care for patients and direct medical students and urology residents in all aspects of clinical urology.  These duties will include inpatient and outpatient surgeries and responsibilities. It is also expected that the candidate will collaborate with other members of the Division of Urology and Department of Surgery in the development of comprehensive urologic facilities and services. Close collaboration with colleagues, hospital and clinic staff will be necessary.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado

Qualifications:

  Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.  

• Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
• Current or ability to obtain a license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fellowship or training in Urology
• Ability to communicate clearly as an integral member of a team.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Urology clinical, educational, and research efforts.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$233,842-$379,446

The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
