Job Summary/Basic Function

The Pride Center of Terre Haute Program Coordinator will assist with all phases of community center programs including development, promotion, implementation, evaluation, and other administrative tasks. The Program Coordinator will participate on various committees to assist with center operations, community partnerships, and delivery of services. The Program Coordinator will assist with community center operations during open hours and through remote work opportunities.

Work Schedule
Work hours include Thursdays from 3:30-8:00pm, Fridays from 3:30-8pm, and Saturdays from 11:30-8pm.

Required Relevant Education & Experience High School diploma or GED
Required Field(s) of Study
Open to any field of study. Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues and experience with programming and advocacy.

High school diploma or GED. Currently enrolled as an ISU student.

Job Duties


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with all phases of community center programs including development, promotion, implementation, evaluation, and other administrative tasks.
  • Co-create monthly social, educational, and service-oriented program offerings.
  • Take an active role in annual Pride Fest and Pride Month planning.
  • Participate on various committees to assist with center operations, community partnerships, and delivery of services.
  • Identify and collaborate with community partners.
  • Assist with community center operations during open hours including: greeting visitors, sharing resources, answering phones, data entry, filing, maintenance of community center space, and more.
  • Other duties as assigned.
