Job Summary
The College of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology at University of Kentucky is seeking motivated Postdoctoral Scholars to study novel immune targets for colon and pancreatic cancers in a collaborative team approach. We will test approaches to examine the interplay between fibroblasts, macrophages and T cells in order to examine therapeutic targets. Human primary cell culture and mouse models will be used to examine immune phenotypes and develop new drug studies. Experience with mouse work, flow cytometry, and immune cell analysis is preferable.

The candidate will receive training and mentorship for career development and work with a multidisciplinary team to develop new skills and translational approaches to tumor immunology. Applicants must have obtained a PhD in cancer biology, immunology, or a related field within the past three years. Strong oral and written English skills are required. The successful candidate should have independent research skills and a track record of success in the laboratory.
