Postdoctoral Scholar Position

Job detail: As a postdoctoral scholar, you will conduct independent research under the guidance of a scientific mentor, focusing on the domains of ovarian and endometrial cancer research. Your research will center on elucidating the mechanisms through which extracellular vesicles secretion mediates high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) and endometrial cancer progression, metastasis and platinum resistance. This knowledge is crucial for the development of innovative strategies for both prevention and targeted treatments. Additionally, our current project is focused the obesity is associated endometrial cancer-related mortality and obese patients have worse disease survival, highlighting the urgent need to identify involved mechanisms and novel molecular targets that contribute to the progression of EC. We are developing safe antineoplastic compounds that selectively target tumor cells while protecting normal cells and tissues, synergizing with existing platinum-based chemotherapy regimens. The ultimate goal of this proposed research is to identify how obesity associated endometrial cancer regulating EVs secretion with oncogenic proteins and it’s contribute to EC progression and evaluate the EVs inhibitor as a safe therapeutic drug for EC.
