The Program in Linguistics at Princeton University invites applications for two Postdoctoral Research Associate (or more senior) research positions in linguistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong research interest in theoretical phonology, morphology, syntax, and/or the interfaces among these areas. The positions will be supervised by Prof. Laura Kalin and Prof. Florian Lionnet.

The successful candidates may be invited to teach one course for Linguistics per semester, pending sufficient enrollments and with the approval of the Office of the Dean of the Faculty, and may engage in a small amount of undergraduate independent work advising. When teaching or advising, the successful candidate will carry a secondary rank of Lecturer. In addition, they will be expected to participate in the intellectual life of the Program in Linguistics.

A PhD in Linguistics or relevant discipline is required. Appointments at the rank of Postdoctoral Research Associate are for one year, with the possibility of renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding. This starting date for this position is expected to be September 1, 2024.
