Position Highlights | The laboratory of Prof. Elisa Tomat at the University of Arizona Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites highly motivated candidates to apply for an opening for Postdoctoral Research Associate I. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded, enthusiastic individual with training in the area of synthetic chemistry and chemical biology to work on projects related to the role of transition metals in human health. Duties & Responsibilities | Design, plan, and conduct research: perform experiments to advance research projects, interpret data and analyze results, maintain detailed records of experiments and analyses, generate new ideas and projects for potential development. Attend regular group meetings and present research findings, collaborate with other group members, prepare written reports and manuscript drafts for publication in international scientific journals. Contribute to the coordination of laboratory work including management and maintenance of lab equipment, regulatory compliance as required by funding agencies, and ordering of laboratory supplies.
