POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP, Sloan School of Management-MIT Golub Center for Finance and Policy (GCFP), to assume a rigorous, one-year fellowship performing research related to one or more of the GCFP’s three main tracks:  evaluation and management of government financial institutions, regulation of financial markets and institutions, or measurement and/or management of risk. Will have an opportunity to engage in projects and initiate new research related to the center’s mission to serve as a catalyst for innovative, cross-disciplinary, and nonpartisan research and educational initiatives that address the unique challenges facing governments in their role as financial institutions and as regulators of the financial system. Ongoing projects focus on government-run financial institutions, retirement finance, government credit and guarantee programs, systemic risk, financial regulatory policy, and other matters related to finance and policy around the globe.

REQUIRED:  a graduate or doctoral candidate with a Ph.D. completed by June 2017.  Job #14591

The fellow will be expected to spend the year in residence at GCFP to advance both collaborative research and professional development.  

A competitive stipend for AY 2017-18, health insurance reimbursement, and an office at the center are included in the fellowship.
