Position Description

The Tollkuhn Lab has an open position for a postdoctoral researcher to develop projects on hormonal regulation of brain sexual differentiation.
The lab studies how gonadal hormones such as estrogen and testosterone regulate brain development, behavior, and disease. These hormones modulate the wiring of social behavior circuits during developmental sensitive periods to produce sex-variable behaviors in adulthood. Our lab is seeking a colleague with a background in neuroendocrinology to explore how hormonal regulation of gene expression impacts the developing and adolescent brain.


Position Requirements

Applicants should have completed, or be near completion of, a Ph.D. in a relevant field. Expertise in neural circuits and/or neurodevelopment is required, experience with rodents and stereotactic surgeries is preferred but not essential. We believe that science is for everyone.
