Position Summary
 Dr. Xue Yuan in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine is recruiting a highly motivated and creative post-doctoral fellow to join the team. The lab conducts innovative research on stem cells and cancer stem cells, with current and future projects focusing on: Head and neck cancer, cancer stem cells, and stem cell malignant transformation Immune cell and epithelial stem cell interactions in wound healing and post-healing tissue remodeling Diabetic wound healing and inflammatory modulation of the stem cell niche. The ideal candidate will have recently completed a PhD in a relevant field such as cell biology, cancer biology, or immunology, have a solid background in molecular biology, genetics, and microscopy, and a demonstrated publication record. Experience with mouse models and bioinformatics is desirable.

Basic Qualifications
Doctoral or terminal degree required. Applicants should have recently completed PhD or MD/PhD training, have a solid background in molecular biology, genetics, and microscope imaging, and a demonstrated publication track-record. Experience working with mouse models and bioinformatics is desirable. The candidate must also have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and writing skills.
