Dr. Charlie Dong’s laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Indiana University School of Medicine located in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the research team. Dr. Dong’s lab is funded by the National Institutes of Health. The current lab research is focused on the pathogenesis and molecular mechanism of the fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer using both cell systems and animal models.

Basic Qualifications
1.      Doctorate or terminal degree required. PhD with substantial hands-on research experience in biomedical sciences is required. 
2.      Experience with molecular biology, cell biology, and animal pathophysiology is preferred.
3.      Skills in animal procedures including injections and primary cell isolation are helpful.   
4.      Excellence of publication record in recognized peer-reviewed journals, written and verbal communication skills in English, and organizing skills.
5.      Candidate is expected to be highly motivated with an excellent record of scientific achievements.
