Postdoctoral Fellow – Drug Discovery and Molecular Pharmacology - 23000002OK 



Description

 

The post-doctoral fellow will perform research under a NIH grant to discover new drugs to treat neuromuscular disease,

Kennedys disease. The fellow will participate in establishing in vitro and transgenic in vivo models to screen new molecules

targeting the androgen receptor and understand the mechanism of action of the drugs and drug target.

The candidate is expected to be an expert in cellular and molecular biological methods and in small animal studies. Experience in cell and molecular biological techniques such as cloning, protein purification, Western blotting, real-time PCR, CRISPR knock-down are necessary. Experience in small animal techniques including oral dosing are expected.

PhD in biochemistry, pharmacology, and related field.

0-3 years post Ph.D. experience.
