Multiple NIH- funded postdoctoral associate/fellow positions are available in the Department of Surgery- Oncology at the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine.
We are seeking highly motivated candidates to conduct multi-disciplinary translational research in the following areas of research:
1. Exploring the role of gut microbiome in cancer & inflammation
2. Circulating tumor cells and tumor metastases.
3. Tumor immunology and immunotherapy.
4. Study of cancer stem cells and tumor microenvironment.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. M.D/ Ph.D. in Cancer Biology/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology and Immunology with experience in circulating tumor cells isolation and analysis of gut microbiome desirable but not essential. Postdoctoral associates are expected to be active participants in the conceptualization and execution of multi- disciplinary research projects using in vitro and in vivo rodent models for research. Candidates with strong record of accomplishment in the form of scientific publications along with excellent communication and presentation skills.
