The University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. This position is responsible for performing research activities and experiments in the laboratory on several aspects of research projects in such areas as cellular and molecular biology, oncology and immunology as well as animal handling. The Postdoctoral Associate assists the Principal Investigator and ensures that all experiments are appropriately conducted following the policies and procedures of the University of Miami. This position will require advance knowledge and capability to exercise independent judgment when carrying out research activities and performing non-routine and complex laboratory projects.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D. or M.D. required in Microbiology and Immunology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Oncology or a closely related field of study. Proficiency and experience using a computer to include Microsoft PowerPoint, Corel Draw and other graphics software preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in the English language.

Patient safety is a top priority.
