The Sumerlin Research Group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida (UF), Gainesville, FL, invites applications for two Postdoctoral Research Associates in Polymer Chemistry. The successful candidates will work under the supervision of Prof. Brent Sumerlin (https://www.sumerlinlab.com/ ), focusing on the precision synthesis of polymers and functional polymer materials. These one-year appointments are renewable based on performance and funding availability. Successful candidates will have a strong background in polymer chemistry and will be responsible for conducting research in synthesizing and characterizing well-defined polymers. The postdoctoral researchers will also be expected to mentor graduate students, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and assist in funding applications.
