The Department of Chemistry at the University of South Dakota is currently seeking a postdoctoral research who is interested in working on the development of novel security ink materials and reading devices for anticounterfeiting applications.The ink materials include, but not limited to inorganic phosphors, upconversion nanomaterials and plasmonic nanomaterials. The reading devices can be either fluorescence or Raman based optical reading system.
The appointment start date is 05/06/2024 or until filled.
Minimum requirement PhD in Chemistry.
This position is grant funded.
