Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | Under the supervision of Youth Empowerment in Schools and Systems Lab Director, Dr. Samuel McQuillin, this individual will assist in conducting research and preparing studies and grant proposals related to child and adolescent school behavioral health. The fellow will be responsible for designing and analyzing complex data, implementing applied research designs in schools and communities, publishing and presenting scholarship, and developing skills in team science. The YESS Lab resides in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina and is in partnership with the School Behavioral Health Team under the leadership of Dr. Mark Weist. Postdoctoral fellows will be encouraged to work within and across labs and faculty within the University to advance their training goals. |

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Experience with school-based intervention research; excellent scientific writing skills as evidenced by publications, grant applications, application materials, dissertation, or writing samples; experience implementing empirically supported treatments in school settings; and strong verbal communication skills. |
