Position Summary
The Fogelman College of Business and Economics (FCBE) at the University of Memphis is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral research fellow position in cross-disciplinary business data analytics. Candidates are expected to have a program of research in business, technology, and/or related areas. The research fellow will partner with FCBE faculty, the FISC Center of Research Excellence, and other FCBE labs (e.g., Customer NeuroInsights (C-NRL), in data analysis, data support, manuscript preparation, and grant proposal submissions on cross-disciplinary business topics. Fellows are expected to conduct data workshops and presentations using 28 datasets subscribed by FCBE under the WRDS umbrella as well as Bloomberg terminals. Fellows will also lead production of monthly reports for grants and contracting opportunities with institutions such as the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce (Center for Economic Competitiveness). Minimum Position Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent in a business or related field and experience in working with large datasets. Candidates are expected to have started a program of research and demonstrate good communication skills and research capabilities.
