Description

The University of Chicago Law School seeks a Political Philosophy Fellow, appointed at the rank of Lecturer, for the academic year 2024-25. This is a twelve-month appointment and is expected to begin July 1, 2024. A Ph.D. in philosophy—with fulfillment of all substantial requirements (including successful defense of dissertation) by appointment date—is required.  The Fellow will offer classes on topics in political philosophy for law students.  AOS:  Political philosophy, with knowledge of one or more historical figures very desirable.  The Fellow will also be expected to contribute to the intellectual life of the Law School, as well as pursue his or her research. Salary $65K benefits superb research environment.
