Position Description | The Pierre Keller Visiting Professorship provides an opportunity for a scholar with a well-established record of work and academic achievement in the field of European Union public policy and transatlantic relations to teach and conduct research in-residence at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). The Visiting Professorship can take place either in fall 2024 (September-December) or Spring of 2025 (January to June), depending on the candidates’ preference. The recipient is expected to teach one course open to Kennedy School and Faculty of Arts and Sciences students during the 2024 fall or 2025 spring term on a transatlantic or EU-related subject to be negotiated with HKS. The professorship provides a stipend of 60,000 USD and covers transatlantic travel expenses of up to 2,000 USD. Basic Qualifications | Applicants are expected to be either senior scholars (with a PhD and ample teaching experience) or senior practitioners (not necessarily PhD holders but teaching experience is required). The applicant should have at least 6 months experience living or working in an English-speaking country. |
