The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a student worker as a Physics/Astronomy/Engineering Teaching and/or Lab Assistant. Teaching and Lab Assistants will support physics, astronomy and/or engineering courses, or they will work in the 3D printing lab. They will work under the direct supervision of a faculty member.

  • Teaching and lab assistants support physics, astronomy and engineering courses and assist faculty as assigned.
  • Helping grade assignments under faculty supervision, providing suplimental instruction, proctoring labs, and completing other course related tasks as assigned.
  • Lab assistants may also be assigned to work in the 3D printing lab.
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
  • Must have completed or be currently enrolled in a physics, engineering or astronomy course.
  • Must have the recomendation of a faculty member.
