Job Description

The purpose of this position is to establish and provide outpatient physical therapy services in the Pocatello area at the Idaho State University Physical Therapy Clinic in Pocatello.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities encompass all aspects of physical therapist practice, including, but not limited to:
• Care and education of patients and caregivers
• Documentation
• Billing
• Required compliance training
• Abiding by all Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements
• Advocating for patients
• Marketing clinic services to local providers to establish clientele
• Working with students providing clinical practicum opportunities for experience treating patients
• Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in physical therapy (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate)
• License to practice in Idaho (or ability to obtain a license to practice in the state of Idaho)
• One year clinical practice experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical Doctorate in physical therapy
• Specialized or concentrated experience in desired content area
• Three years of clinical practice
• Evidence of clinical teaching experience
