Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The Public Health Science program is seeking a 12-month, full-time (20 hours per week) graduate assistant to begin work in summer 2024. Students possessing a passion for facilitating students’ academic and professional development using data-driven and culturally competent approaches are encouraged to apply. This position builds communication, critical thinking, technology, problem-solving and leadership skills. It offers professional opportunities for direct experience in providing academic advising services to a diverse student population, through orientation, recruitment, program delivery support, program development, and more. This assistantship is an excellent opportunity for students in any graduate program but will significantly benefit students in the fields of student development, student affairs, higher education, public health, psychology, social work, human services, education, and other careers of service.
