PET Technologist Lead - Radiation Operations

To perform positron emission tomography/computerized axial tomography (PET-CT) hybrid imaging, using a single device in a single diagnostic section, combining noninvasive, structural and metabolic assessment of the patient’s body. Under the direction of a radiologist/nuclear medicine physician, to perform PET-CT at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical details. May be assigned a variety of other duties by department management to include, but not limited to, quality control, patient escort services and participation in a variety of training, committee work and maintenance of ACR accreditation.


Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiological Technology required. Two (2) years experience in general nuclear medicine or CT preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) OR CNMT Registered graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiological Technology required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
