Job Summary

A research study in the PhD in Nursing program is looking to hire a per diem research assistant to help with data management, data collection, dissemination, and additional tasks.

Essential Functions

  • Research Conduct
    • Conduct literature reviews.
    • Execute studies, ensuring adherence to research protocols.
    • Analyze and interpret research findings with a keen attention to detail.
    • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and research regulations.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of research protocols.
    • Supervisor undergraduate research assistants.
    • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and research funding applications.
    • Contribute to the development of research proposals and protocols.
  • Data Management
    • Collect, organize, and manage research data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Employ advanced statistical and qualitative methods to analyze datasets.
  • Dissemination
    • Prepare research findings for conference presentations and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Additional Duties
    • Attend relevant meetings.
    • Develop agendas and take minutes as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD or Doctorate in Nursing or related Field
  • 0-2 Years of Experience
  • Other requirements

  • Typically sitting at a desk/table

Additional Information

This is a part-time Per Diem position classified as Non-Exempt.  The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
