The University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics is looking for a part-time Pediatric Endocrinologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor determined by experience and qualifications as evaluated by the University of Maryland School of Medicine to expand its Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. 

Position/Program Highlights:

·         Collaborative team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Dieticians and Administrative Staff who support direct and indirect inpatient and outpatient care, consultations, procedures, teaching of fellows, residents and medical students, clinical research, and quality improvement projects.

·         Subspecialty expertise within the division includes a Pediatric Diabetes Program and Transgender Health Program. 

·         Our team is highly skilled in the use of current diabetes management technology and remains at the forefront of new innovations.

·         Strong focus on community outreach and health equit y.

·         Our practitioners have academic pursuits in addition to clinical expertise.

o   State of the art 52-bed Level IV NICU

o   19 bed PICU

o   29 General Pediatric Beds

o   20 bed Pediatric Emergency Department

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

·         Licensed (Maryland) M.D./D.O.

·         Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology

·         Maryland State medical license, or able to obtain.

·         Demonstrate strong interest in working within an academic environment.
