Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the North Carolina Children’s Hospital is seeking an individual to join a busy and productive academic practice. This is a full-time, fixed-term faculty open rank position. 
The Division offers an exceptionally collaborative environment for the care of children with the full spectrum of pediatric allergy, asthma, and immune deficiency disorders. Clinical care is provided at the UNC Hospitals Children’s Specialty Clinics at Carolina Pointe II and the UNC Children’s Allergy and Immunology Raleigh Clinic. In addition, strong basic and translational research programs provide opportunities to participate in and lead clinical trials for innovative therapies through collaborative work within the institution and as part of national research networks.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
The successful candidate will be MD or MD/PhD with a background in pediatrics or medicine/pediatrics. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Allergy/Immunology and licensable in North Carolina. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The successful applicant will be directly engaged in the clinical and educational missions of the division. Experience in mentoring medical students, residents, and other learners is preferred. Experience in food allergy is preferred.
