Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motion (such as typing); walking including pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.
Shift
4x 10-hour shifts between Sunday – Saturday; Shifts vary between 7am and 8 pm (40hrs/wk total)
Job Summary
This position is located off-campus in Lexington, KY at UKHC Turfland Clinic.
UKHC Turfland Shared Services is searching for a candidate to help with patient scheduling, registration, and check-out for Spanish-speaking patients.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to; greeting patients, registration, insurance verification, cash handling, medical record preparation, scheduling appointments, procuring new patient records, communicating information with patients via the telephone and in person, and answering telephone. This position supports efficient patient care and clinic initiatives for improving patient attendance and keeping attendance records.
