The Partnerships Operations Coordinator plays a key role in developing and supporting the data and reporting requirements needed to facilitate student and partnership workflows. Responsible for daily management of scalable processes that ensure best practices in managing and troubleshooting data bases, reports and other process requirements supporting student and partner account needs. As needed, oversee manual data overrides for inaccurate system data. Outcomes require coordination across multiple departments including IT, Strategic Partnerships, Student Services and Online Campus.
Remote from any of the following states – Alabama, Arizona, California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.
The hiring range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 per hour. Offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: geographical location, knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.

TYPE OF SUPERVISION: 

Receive general supervision from the Director of Partnership Operations:

  • General Supervision — indicates that the incumbent performs a variety of duties; some of which may be complex duties within established policy guidelines; and receives occasional supervision.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Systems and Operations:

  • Manages and maintains partner data rule sets and reports, including updates, maintenance, and edits
  • Develops and evolves report templates based upon partner needs
  • Works with IT and other departments on rule script management
  • Responsible for quality assurance and data verification. Facilitates data agreement between partners and university
  • Responsible for development and management of reports required for partner data exchange detailing partner and student workflows
    • Across the student lifecycle from application through conferral
    • Across key performance metrics like recruitment, retention, tuition assistance/tuition reimbursement and other partner functions
    • Integrating partner data (e.g. program participation eligibility) when available
  • Facilitation of data exchange of above noted reports
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and work with cross functional university teams to resolve
  • Develop proactive systems for early alert to data failure or breakdowns in report delivery
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR LICENSES:

  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience in operations, to include systems and data management
  • Experience in data management systems, preferably in student information systems such as Banner

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to understand the strategic direction and goals of the Strategic Partnership and Student Support teams and support appropriate processes to facilitate achievement of business objectives
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent data management skills; preference for experience with student information systems and reporting systems
  • Ability to problem-solve and craft efficient processes with the assistance of cross functional university teams
  • A result and success oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure
  • Ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
  • Ability to innovate and optimize the use of available resources
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
  • Experience in data management systems, preferably in student information systems such as Banner
