Job Description

Part-time Temporary Resident Life Assistant
29 hours per week

The Office of Residential Life is looking for a part-time temporary assistant to support projects that include research and benchmarking, process analysis, audit and accountability processes, and policy review and development. In addition this  position may be involved with budget and fiscal management.

Successful candidates will need to be a self-starter, open to engaging in a variety of ways with staff and students, and be willing to share ideas in a collaborative manner. In addition, candidates must be detail oriented and understand how to maintain confidential information while managing workflow and deadlines.

Estimated hours per week are 29, but may fluctuate based on need and availability.

Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred in a related field
  • Knowledge of Google Suite of services is required.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including writing skills is required
  • Project management training and experience preferred, including proven success in managing multiple projects and train staff
  • An understanding of customer service and a demonstrated ability to de-escalate situations. 
  • Experience in Residential Life / Student Affairs or related field is preferred
  • Experience writing, preparing and presenting reports, data, and presentations is preferred
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule to support evening and weekend events is strongly preferred
