The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Temporary Lab Assistant on the Gainesville campus. This position is responsible for maintaining and trouble-shooting instrumentation issues, preparing reagents for labs; organizing and preparing labs for instructional meetings, organizing the chemistry storeroom; supervising students in labs.

  • Maintain and trouble shoot instrumentation.
  • Reagent prep.
  • Prepare Laboratories for additional sections and course offerings.
  • Organize chemistry storeroom.
  • Grade student lab reports.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • General laboratory safety, general undergraduate chemistry laboratory knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Undergraduate lab experience as a student.
  • Degree in Chemistry or Biology preferred. 

Minimum starting salary: $16.00 per hour
