Part-Time Temporary Geospatial Technology Analyst (Grant Funded)

The University of North Georgia and the Institute for Environmental and Spatial Analysis (IESA) is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Temporary Geospatial Technology Analyst (GTA) on the Gainesville campus. The GTA will primarily support ESRI K-12 ArcGIS Online Competition grant. This position is grant funded.

• Provide GIS support to teachers.
• Develop educational content for the workshop and teachers.
• Assist in K-12 outreach and recruitment.
• Assist in the development of geospatial application for K-12 teachers participating in the competition.
• Convene a virtual workshop and informational session with K-12 teacher.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Proficiency in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro software.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience with configuration of geospatial application such as Storymap and Webapp Builder is required.

• Bachelor of Science in GIS or Spatial Analysis preferred.
• Certificates in Geographic Information Science, Geospatial Technology preferred.
