Columbus State has an opening for a part-time Student Engagement Coordinator.

  • Coordinating all engagement activities for high school students involved in the Teaching as a Profession classes.
  • Working with declared Education majors prior to entering Teacher Education tracks.
  • Coordinating all ¿signing day¿ ceremonies with high schoolers participating in the TAP Program and planning to attend CSU.
  • Coordinating all high school and middle school student visits to the the College of Education and Health Professions.
  • Assisting with all CQTL activities as needed.
  • Knowledge of educational processes in the K-12 setting.
  • Ability to work with both classroom teachers and administrators.
  • Ability to work with higher education students.
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams.

Bachelor¿s Degree Required.

Experience in the P-12 setting preferred.

$1225 Monthly. 15 hrs/week for 10 months (August-May)

 For Faculty Hires : Final candidates will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
