The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Office Assistant on the Oconee campus. This position will serve as the receptionist at the information desk and card services representative at the Oconee campus as well as provides general clerical support to the staff and students at the Oconee campus.

  • Serve as receptionist at Information Desk to: Greet visitors. Answer phones, triage calls, and direct callers to appropriate departments or personnel for assistance and resolution; Assist students, parents, and other visitors who are visiting the administrative building by determining needs and directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel for assistance. Answer general routine questions. Manage traffic in the administrative lobby.
  • Provide assistance and general clerical support to the Executive Director's office with regards to special events, projects, and strategic initiatives; serve as backup to Executive Director's Administrative Assistant.
  • Provide General clerical support to the faculty and staff of the Oconee campus as directed by immediate supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must have knowledge of basic computer skills (to include Microsoft Office and Outlook) and Banner.
  • High school diploma required. 
  • 2 years of office/administrative experience.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Associate degree or some college preferred.

Standard Hiring Range: $12.77 - $14.05
