Description

The Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for a part-time, renewable Lecturer position for fall, winter and spring quarters of the 2024-2025 academic year. Depending on the curricular needs of the department, the successful candidate/s will teach between one and three courses per academic year. Additional duties include holding regularly scheduled office hours and the preparation and grading of assignments and testing materials. A demonstrated record of teaching experience, expertise in applied microeconomics, especially managerial economics and related fields, and history of economic thought are required. 


Qualifications

Applicants must have a completed Ph.D. in Economics and a record of teaching at the university or four-year college level.
