Position Summary
Austin Peay State University is currently seeking part-time, temporary instructors in the area of Mathematics and Statistics.
The Department offers four undergraduate concentrations: Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, and Mathematics Education. Moreover, the Department offers both an online and on-campus Master of Science and Professional Science Masters ideal for professionals in a wide variety of career fields in science and mathematics.
Salary is based on course load.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Seeking an individual with expertise in mathematics education, statistics, actuarial science, and applied, pure, industrial, financial, or computational mathematics.

Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree or higher in Mathematics and/or Statistics.
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
