The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (with concentrations in General Mathematics and Mathematics Teaching), the Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Data Science, a Certificate in Applied Data Science, and the Master of Arts Degree in Applied Mathematics. Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Eastern Kentucky University Department of Mathematics and Statistics is accepting applications for part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in our program. Instructor will teach classes at either the Richmond campus or any one of the regional campuses, to a maximum of 9 credit hours per semester, on an as-needed basis. Master's Degree is required in Mathematics or a related field, with at least 18 hours in graduate level Mathematics. Degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution. Candidate is expected to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with undergraduate students and the university community.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree is required in Mathematics or a related field, with at least 18 hours in graduate level Mathematics. Degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution.

   

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
