The University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates to apply for a Graphic Designer position within the School of Divinity.

 

This position has a full-time equivalency (FTE) of .5 or 20 hours per week.

 

THE SAINT PAUL SEMINARY SCHOOL OF DIVINITY

The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity (SPSSOD) is operated under an affiliation agreement between the University of St. Thomas, the Saint Paul Seminary and the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.  The vision, mission and core values are as follows:

JOB SUMMARY

This position is half-time and reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications at The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity. It includes planning, execution and analysis of various design projects for use in digital and print efforts of the seminary. These efforts serve the seminary’s mission in three ways: supporting institutional advancement, aiding recruiting efforts and enhancing internal communications. This is a 0.5 FTE position.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plans, executes and evaluates a variety of digital and print design projects on behalf of The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity.
  • Owns creation and project management of the seminary’s quarterly magazine, The Epistle.
  • Contributes to the creation and management of a seminary-wide digital asset management (DAM) platform for easy storage and use of content assets.
  • Collaborates with Director of Marketing and Communications and Marketing and Communications Specialist to plan, execute and evaluate projects and assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 



Minimum Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, journalism, communications or a related field
  • 2-3 years of professional experience

An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may be substituted
