Job Description:

Provide administrative support to Student Financial Services. Assist in special projects, organizing meetings, training sessions, and events. Will be responsible for maintaining personnel records and filing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of Student Financial Services including completion of housing verification forms, cataloging and organizing documents in paper and electronic formats, monitoring electronic communications and updating electronic responses.
  • Assist in the administration of the federal work study program.
  • Maintain and track information including confidential material.
  • Develop and maintain files, records, and databases including digital scanning and indexing of files.
  • Provide research and quality control support for daily operations.
  • Receive and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintains departmental internet page.
  • Performs other related duties as needed.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of administrative assistant experience.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks required.
  • Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations required.


Additional Information:

Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr. @ 18.5/hrs week (non-benefited)
